A high-quality external battery

pack has been created for use with

the Speedlite 430EZ, ensuring

adequate power for extended photo

graphy sessions. The Transistor Pack

E provides approximately 2,000

flashes (with alkaline-manganese

batteries) or 1,500 flashes (with

Ni-Cd batteries).

using the EOS-Ts A-TTL auto-flash

program. An AF auxiliary light

enables positive autofocus even in

controlled flash fill ratio to achieve

the exact effect you desire. Flash

exposure compensation is possible in

1/3-step increments. And flash

charging time is less than 1.5

seconds, allowing rapid-fire flash

photography.

Second-curtain sync means the

flash is fired at the end of a slow

shutter speed exposure, preserving

the natural flow of moving light. The

stroboscopic function fires the flash 3MEZ
