NOTESNOTES
After you set a user memo, do not remove the SD card while you are recording. If the SD card is removed, the
user memo will not be added to the clip.
You must set the user memo before you start recording for it to be added to the clip. You cannot change the user
memo already added to a clip using the camera but you can do so with Canon XF Utility.
When the optional GP-E1 GPS Receiver is attached to the camera and the GPS function is activated, the user
memo information will not be recorded, even if you have selected a user memo file from the SD card.
Entering Information About the Recording
You can enter scene and take information to help identify the recording
later on.
1 Open the [Scene] or [Take] submenu.
[3 Recording/Media Setup] > [Metadata] > [Scene] or [Take].
2 Select [Set] and then press SET.
Enter the desired text using the keyboard screen (A 35).
To clear the scene/take information, select [Reset] instead.
3 Select [OK] and then press SET.
