 Writing the Backup Data to the Printer

1 Connect the printer to the computer with the USB cable.

For how to connect with the USB cable, refer to “Connecting the Printer and

Computer” (P.36).

2 Power the printer on. When the character input display appears, press the [PC Conn]

key on the printer.

3 Open the Mk2500PC, and then select [Printer data backup] from the [File] menu.

The Printer data backup dialog box appears.

4 Select [Recovery to the printer], and then click [OK].
