EOS 30/33

The EOS 30 and EOS 33 incorporate many of the SLR technologies that make EOS top-end

models the professionals’ choice. Features include powerful 7-point Area AF, Eye-control (EOS 30

only), fast and silent operation, plus 13 custom functions derived from the professionals’ most

used settings. All you need to add is your own creative eye.

7-point Wide-Area AF with high-speed eye

control*. 35 evaluative metering zones work in

conjunction with 7 focusing

points so that the main

subject is always correctly

exposed. Features like the

full specification viewfinder with dioptric adjustment

allow you to create the best possible results. Eye-control*

activates the focusing point or points closest to where

your eye settles. This incredibly fast system works

beautifully with action shots.

Fast but quiet shooting. A series of advanced

optical technologies push these cameras’ capabilities way

above others in their class. The built-in motor drive

enables an outstanding 4 fps shooting speed. Used in

conjunction with a Canon

USM lens, the EOS 30 and

EOS 33 boast a near-silent

mirror movement, making

them the quietest EOS cameras available. In addition, the

newly developed reflex mirror ensures viewfinder

blackout is minimised during non-stop shooting.

Attention to detail. Compact dimensions make the

EOS 30 and EOS 33 easy and comfortable to hold. The

camera measurements are precisely calculated to ensure

that the overall layout of the controls allows logical and

natural operation. New selection keys within the Quick

Control Dial enable rapid selection of the seven focusing

points. The top cover has three dials serving as the user

interface. High-quality design and metal covers with a

black alumite finish give the cameras an attractive

appearance.
