G series has been developed

and refined to meet the needs

of photographers looking for a

compact camera with flexibility,

versatility and superb picture

quality. Their metal bodies

are full of advanced features,

making them powerful cameras

in their own right or versatile

compact cameras that are the

perfect complement to a DSLR.

Providing similar controls to a DSLR,

the combination of a Front Dial and rear

Multi-Control Dial allows for quick

adjustments to shooting settings to be made.

The optical viewfinder enables

you to shoot in the traditional style or

you can use the vari-angle LCD screen to

shoot discreetly or from a variety of positions.

The PowerShot G series cameras offer a

large range of accessories many of which

are part of Canon’s EOS System. Canon

Speedlite flashes can be mounted on the

hotshoe, you can also use more specialised

flash units including the Macro Ring Lite

and Twin Lite flash for advanced macro

photography. Wireless or off-camera flash

is also possible by using the Speedlite

Transmitter (ST-E2) or the Off Camera

Shoe Cord (OC-E3).

With a Lens Filter Adapter you can attach

58mm filters to the lens or with the

remote switch (RS-60E3) you can trigger

the camera away from the camera to avoid

camera shake during longer exposures.
